IEEE EMBS 2016 Personal Health Design Challenge Combines Student Research Demo, Industry Tech Showcase & Design Challenge Workshop

Plan to participate in the 2016 IEEE EMBS Personal Health Design Challenge with the objective of Bridging Disciplines to Transform Human Health. Industry, Academic, and Research Leaders will identify and frame emerging challenges for personal health in a range of diverse settings in categories of EARTH – SEA – AIR – SPACE. These special student oriented sessions will take place on the Friday & Saturday at the IEEE EMBC Annual Meeting and will feature Student Research Demos, an Industry Tech Showcase, and the Design Challenge Workshop. Students are invited to submit demo proposals to feature working solutions in hardware, software, systems, and/or video of their work. Invited Transformation Talks will feature speakers sharing their perspectives on working across boundaries to transform health. Proposals for Design Challenge Solutions are invited and selected ideas will be featured in the Design Challenge Workshop on the Saturday Session.
The venue is Disney’s Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World® Resort, Lake Buena Vista (Orlando), Florida USA on August 19-20. Mark your calendar and register early to secure your spot!
