What is Open Access?
If an author selects Open Access and receives a CC by license, at publication, their article will be freely available to all readers in Xplore and the author may post and share the paper as needed
How It Works
• During Conference registration, Authors can choose to make their paper Open Access. IEEE provides the option of either a CC BY or CC BY-NC-ND license
• There is always a fee of $800 (less member and Society discounts) for IEEE Conference Open Access
IEEE Conference Open Access.
• Once paid, the paper is freely available on the publisher’s website.
Licensing
• IEEE always provides a CC-By license for Open Access
