Session Recordings: All permitted session recordings & on-demand videos will be available on the virtual event website until December 10, 2021. Recordings and 5&10 Minute video recordings will be available for viewing when you click into the session and click the “VIDEO” button. Recordings are exclusive to EMBC’21 attendees only, and will not be open to the public.

Certificate of Participation: This will be automatically emailed to all registered attendees within 1-week post-event.

About the Conference

Conference Proceedings are indexed in PubMed Central (PMC) but require access to IEEEXplore. EMBC 2021 Open Access papers will be immediately available online once transferred to PMC. 

The IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society is pleased to announce the 43rd Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society to be virtually, Saturday, October 30, 2021 (Pre-Conference Workshops & Social Events), Monday, November 1 – Friday, November 5, 2021 (Conference). The theme of the conference is “Changing Global Health Care in the Twenty-First Century”. As the world’s largest international biomedical engineering conference. A broad array of scientific tracks will cover diverse topics of cutting edge research and innovation in biomedical engineering, healthcare technology R&D, translational clinical research, technology transfer and entrepreneurship, and biomedical engineering education. In addition to the high-profile keynotes, the conference program will feature mini- symposia, Workshops, Special sessions, oral and poster sessions, sessions for students and young professionals, sessions for clinicians and entrepreneurs, and exhibits from vendors and universities.
