The IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) is thrilled to announce its first-ever discount program for students. This program aims to support your participation in the upcoming 46th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society.
Who can apply?
This discount program is open to students who meet ALL the following criteria:
- First Author: You must be the primary author (listed first) on an accepted full contributed paper
- Current Undergraduate or Graduate Student: You must be actively enrolled in a college/university at the time of application and the conference.
- IEEE EMBS Member: You must be a current member of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society. Click here to learn more and join. Confirmed membership is required to apply, membership can take 2-3 business days to finalize.
- This rate covers one full contributed paper ONLY

Get your application in by Friday, May 10th at 5:00 PM ET. Applications can NOT be accepted via email.
Please note: Extensions will not be granted.
Acceptance
Selected applicants will receive detailed instructions on claiming their discount within 3 business days of applying.
Note: All application criteria must be met at the time of submission. Re-application is not permitted.
Discount
Recipients will receive a $300 discount to be applied towards any EMBS full conference registration (EMBC Member – $695).
Note: Only one accepted paper can be linked to a registration using this discount code. Recipients that do not register under an EMBS full conference registration or link more than one paper automatically forfeit the discount.
Registration
Recipients will receive a registration discount code that can be applied to any EMBS full conference registration. The discount code will only be valid until May 10, 2024, at 11:59 PM ET.
Note: Recipients that do not use the discount code by the deadline forfeit the discount. Only one discount code can be applied per attendee/registration. Recipients of the NextGen Scholarship are not eligible for the Student Volunteer Service Project.
