Preparing a Presentation

Oral / Lecturer Presentations

Projector and Computer Setup: All session rooms will be equipped with a projector and a computer loaded with MS PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat Reader for your presentations. These projectors are designed for a 16:9 aspect ratio, so we recommend creating your slides in this format for optimal viewing.

Bringing Your Presentation: Please remember to bring your presentation on a USB flash drive. You can upload your files to the computers during session breaks.

For Compatibility: To avoid compatibility issues, we recommend including .ppt, .pptx, and .pdf versions of your presentation on your USB drive.

Additional Tips:

  • We advise against embedding movies in your presentations, as functionality cannot be guaranteed.
  • Use fonts that are commonly available in the Windows operating system to prevent display issues.

Onsite: Speakers are kindly requested to arrive at their designated session room 15 minutes before their allocated time slot to check in with the Session Chair.

Poster Presentations

Poster Size: We recommend using a portrait A0 size poster (84.1 cm wide x 118.9 cm tall).

Printing and Mounting:

  • Please print your poster beforehand.
  • Double-sided tape and/or pins will be available for mounting your posters on the designated boards.

Placement:

  • Each poster board will be numbered to correspond with the listings in the conference PDF program.
  • Find your assigned board number and mount your poster there.
  • Refer to the conference PDF program for your specific board assignment.

Reminder: Please remove your posters after your designated session ends.
